The New School Year with a Wish List

On Tuesday, August 23^rd, a few of our Questies went shopping to help our local teachers with the things they really need in the classroom. We went to a couple of stores and picked up the things on their wish lists. Most of these items were things that these teachers would have had to buy out of their own pockets since there is very little room in the already tight budget. We were able to bring boxes of Lysol wipes, Kleenex, hand sanitizer, paper and a lot of other things they need. Every teacher was grateful and met us with a thank-you, handshakes and hugs. It feels great to give back and to see all of their happy faces saying it is like Christmas. I don’t think any of us realized how much teachers these days do for our children. We are very honored to be able to donate to Garfield Elementary School. A special thank you to Andrea, Krista and Trevor for all of their help with this project.
